My name is Woodrow Berry. I am originally from Michigan, lovingly referred to as “The Mitt,” but I have called Big Sky home since 2007. My passion for bootfitting began that first winter, and I have been dedicated to this craft ever since.
Throughout my career, I have immersed myself in the world of bootfitting, attending numerous clinics and conferences to stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies. I had the privilege of working under the guidance of a certified pedorthist (C-Ped), which significantly enhanced my knowledge and skills.
Many influential individuals within the ski industry have mentored me, helping to refine my expertise and open doors to new areas, such as stance assessment and correction. These opportunities have allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of how different aspects of biomechanics influence bootfitting.
In addition to my hands-on experience, I created my own course curriculum and spent several years teaching the art of bootfitting to aspiring professionals. This experience not only sharpened my skills but also fueled my passion for sharing knowledge and helping others achieve excellence in their craft.
As a lifelong learner, I am always eager to expand my knowledge and stay at the forefront of bootfitting innovations. The journey has been incredibly rewarding, and I am excited to see what the future holds in this ever-evolving field. In my free time, I am an avid skier and mountain biker. You’ll often find me outside skiing in the backcountry, seeking out water, or pedaling somewhere with my dog, Breslin, who is undoubtedly the best adventure buddy around!
